サンフランシスコのオーシャン・ビーチ・ライフをテーマにした、画家リーバイ・パタと写真家・黄瀬麻以のコラボレーション作品をポストカードに。
タイトルにある「Sunset」は、夕日のほかに、リーバイが住んでいたサンフランシスコの最西端の海岸地区の名称でもあります。そして、「Another」という言葉は、「また」と「別の」というふたつの意味を持ちます。
サンフランシスコに住んでいた2014から2015年、一緒に家の近くの海や近所へ散歩にでかけ、同じ風景を共有していたふたりが、同じ土地の同じ夕日を見ながら、「違った視点から見たSunset」という意図で制作した作品は、国も性別も違うふたりのアーティストによって、ふたつの意味を持つ言葉のように、日常に少しだけ特別な時間をもたらせてくれます。

1985年ホリスター（カリフォルニア）生まれ。2009年から2年間東京で活動、その後サンフランシスコへ戻る。2016年3月、京都へ移住。現在京都を拠点に制作活動をおこなっている。

With a central theme of San Francisco’s Ocean Beach lifestyle, artist, Levi Pata, and photographer, Mai Kise have collaborated painting and photographic work, made into a sharable book of postcards.
The western-most neighborhood of San Francisco is fittingly named “The Sunset” for its beautiful view out toward the ocean. “Another Sunset” refers to the sunset marking another day’s end, but also contains the meaning of seeing The Sunset district from more than one unique view point.
From 2014-2015, their two very different view points converged while spending time walking around together in this beachside area― Mai taking photographs near Levi’s house in the Sunset. Their contrasts in culture and occupation, brought together in the same place and time, makes for a special singular series of work included in this book of postcards.
